Kutlug Ataman

It was strange to read but something like this, about his political activism for women being allowed to wear head coverings in government institutions.  read about a similar problem in France in the issue of girls being allowed to wear head scarves. Its odd considering that only a country or two away, not even, women are required to wear head scarves. It was also neat to see how he brought several different types of women together to demonstrates the many real women wear head coverings, wigs or otherwise. he was protesting something that seems, quite frankly, strange, while he himself was born into a family of diplomats. He became an artist the opposite of what was probably expected of him. His medium too was probably more powerful, because the voice or sounds that accompany the moving images of real women who wear wigs for several reasons create a more powerful image than a still one.
